I am going to assume that by
I am going to assume that by "this" you are referring to the site
itself. The mission statement sums it up, but I always love to
tell a story.

Green Scissors are the metal scissors with rubber
coated handles that I used in elementary school. The black
handled ones were for righties and the green handles for freaks like
me. There were never enough of them and I coveted them
mightily. The impact of that experience has stayed with me.

Green
Scissors the site is my domain. You could call it a personal
site, but it is open to the public to view and contribute. The
only caveat is that I am the admin and it is my fickle nature that
decides what is and is not "appropriate" here. I have built the
site and burned it to the ground about 4 times in the last 3
years. Each iteration (I believe) is better than the last.
Right now I am flat out in love with the tools available here.
But in 6 months or a year (hess42 cann attest to this) I may get a wild
hair and burn it all down again.

Hope that answers your question.
