People of Earth – Google Earth is out. And it’s free! It’s only for Windows (at least, for now) and it allows you to traverse the Earth using satellite imagery.

of course, the Pro version looks unbelievable. I wish I had a job where there was SOME justification for it. I mean seriously, any at all.

I think my broadband at work
I think my broadband at work has a choke on it. Its damn slow. But when I get home you can bet there will be some serious surfing going on.
Yeah, the GPS tie in looks sweet. Next they need to get realtime weather satelites to overlay on the display.
You know…
I spent about 30 minutes this morning before work just playing with the tilt feature. Zeroing in on an area and then tilting the perspective so it feels like you’re at ground level and looking out at the mountain range on the horizon is just freaking cool.
Now I want some sort of web-based game that uses this as the interface for navigation.
